Taco Bamba

Price: 5.5
Atmosphere: 7.9
Taste: 7.6

Overall: 7.15

Michaela’s Review:

Great atmosphere (7.9 points for Gryffindor) and had a full service bar, but the set-up was a little cluttered and it was unclear that there were servers in the bar area, whereas the low seats were order from the counter only. Salsa was pretty good and having a salsa bar with different options was a nice touch. My carnitas taco was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. I got a little fancy and also purchased “The Gringo” taco and that BLEW ME AWAY. Very good, but a very Americanized taco so not a whole lot of authenticity points. A little pricey as well, so not the place to go for cheap eats. Overall, a good choice especially if you want a slightly nicer, but still casual place to drink and eat tacos (which who doesn’t).

Kevin’s Review:

Had extremely high expectations for Taco Bamba. The evening of going I was craving a Corona and tacos. After taking 10 minutes more than I would have liked to park, we made it to Taco Bamba. Staff was very friendly but we didn’t have any instructions on where to order or what to do. We placed an order at the counter and sat by the bar where we had a waitress come and serve us. Tacos were good but a little expensive for one of the gourmet ones. Was disappointed that I wasn’t able to get a corona from their bar but with a cerevza in hand I enjoyed the vibe that Taco Bamba was giving off.
